Part of a sizeable country house built in 1870 for Lord Hocking and now run as a guest house, a very comfortable and totally self-contained apartment with two spacious en-suite bedrooms has been created. Large double outlook picture windows add a light airy aspect to an open plan living room that incorporates tastefully arranged lounge/dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. Beautifully furnished and carpeted throughout in a sea of soft beige, a neutral décor pervades adding a restful quality to all the rooms. A private patio to the front of the cottage is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the extensive views, or a ten minute stroll will take you down to the village pub and beach which is a paradise for surfers, windsurfers or those content to laze with the soft sand between their toes.
